  Weber Housing Authority currently has a case worker who has dishonorably taken it upon herself to write a very misleading online review for an extremely disreputable Ogden business owner who is privately contracting with Weber Housing Authority and who has evenhandedly earned every negative review he's received online. Shame, shame, shame on that case worker for such unethical behavior. Unquestionably, it's that level of dishonesty, insensitivity and egotism that can, and oftentimes does cast a very poor reflection on entire enterprises that either encourage that behavior or completely overlook it, and it's precisely what maintains the constant social disorder we undergo still today. "Improving communities" isn't a matter of merely applying for and receiving federal grants to blindly contract with whoever's acquisitively interested in commercially engaging with state agencies solely to line their own pockets, irrespective of however adversely it affects other members of the community. "Improving communities" is about directing actual attention to and effort in resolving the crux of the many causes of destitution, economic hardship, psychological disorders, substance abuse, etc., that clients of social service agencies (and others) are perpetually undergoing. In essence, genuine service to the community isn't simply about receiving applications, asking a series of basic, pre-scripted questions, then in turn providing random housing placement for countless applicants that may, and oftentimes do, require structured, or controlled settings - it truly doesn't take a mastermind, college grad or licensed case worker to do that. ANYONE can carry that out. Actual and valuable service to the community on behalf of social agency administrators and case workers necessarily entails 1. proper discernment, and the sincere inclination or inspiration to alleviate social affliction 2. the motivation to research not just numbers and figures, but to investigate and critically examine the authentic underlying causes of homelessness, substance abuse, etc., and the available remedies to these problems 3. the courage to devote attention and effort to actual resolution of those underlying triggers, as opposed to turning a blind eye to them for the purpose of agency preservation, or simply because the commitment appears too great and/or lies outside the parameters of administratively, or governmentally prescribed obligations.

  When looking for housing in weber county don't expect too much here. Limited information, and no leads on non-profit resources outside of the other state and government programs that probably sent you here, i.e. dws, or 211. However, you can sign up on a wait list for housing but it is indeed a wait.
